Gibbston Valley Wines is in the wine growing Central Otago region, just a short drive from Queenstown and well known for its wine cave. The Winery Restaurant menu has been created to match their wines with a menu of small, medium and large plates with dishes like whole baked flounder and slow roasted Royalburn Station lamb shoulder often on the menu. Maybe opt for something lighter at the cellar door and match a wine with meat and cheese platters or light bites. The Cheesery & Deli showcases cheese platters which can be beautifully paired with a glass of wine, or a light lunch.
