The Hunting Lodge

Located just 25 minutes from Auckland in the historic village of Waimauku lies the historic Hunting Lodge with Lawn Bar and Cellar Door. The ‘pasture to plate’ philosophy is evident as the restaurant sources all fresh meat, fish and veggies locally. Choose from the a la carte menu or if you are feeling a little adventurous try the 6 course ‘trust the Chef’ menu. The Cellar Door & Lawn Bar operates during the warmer months so grab a table or a picnic blanket and enjoy local wines or beer with casual sharing style gourmet food outdoors.

The Lodge is open for lunch Thursday-Sunday and dinner Thursday-Saturday
